Northern Ek Chor's research and development department is divided into several motorcycle and engine units. Equipped with advanced software like product life management, 3-D modeling and AVL engine development, all the departmental units work together to bring a motorcycle to fruition, from conceptual design to simulated assembly to functional calculation of the motorcycle, its engine and parts. Currently, Northern Ek Chor possesses hundreds patents on technologies with independent intellectual property rights on all of its new products.

Mold pressing: The imported pressure-casting and gravity casting machines can produce different kinds of aluminum and metal molds such as motorcycle molds and engine cases.

Frame welding: Equipped with advanced impact welders, Northern Ek Chor can produce parts such as fuel tanks, frames, stand and step rods.

Plating: Conducted in an enclosed area, the plating process for paint coating includes metal painting, resin painting and varnish coating, with world-advanced electrostatic painting technology also installed.

The Northern Ek Chor's engine processing lines and motorcycle assembly lines were modeled after Honda technologies. The processing lines polish and refine those casts produced by the molding department followed by the assembly of the different engine parts in the assembly lines.

Northern Ek Chor has advanced motorcycle assembly lines for cubs, scooters and standard. Parts such as the engine, fuel tank, frame, stand and step rods which are manufactured by Northern Ek Chor are assembled in the assembly lines along with accessories such as tires, meters and motorcycle lights that are sourced from outside. The Northern Ek Chor's inspection center is responsible to inspect each and every motorcycle and its engine before delivery. Inspection includes: motorcycle chassis testing, lights testing, emission testing, etc. After passing all the tests, the motorcycle would then be packaged and transferred to the warehouse facilities for delivery.
