Zhumadian

Co., Ltd. ("Huazhong Chia Tai"), is a subsidiary of CPP, with the latter holding 70% of its shares.

Located in the northern district of the high-tech development zone in Zhumadian city, Henan province, Huazhong Chia Tai was established in 1995 and has about 600 employees, of whom 190 have a tertiary education or higher. Huazhong Chia Tai engages principally in producing and selling feed-grade Chlortetracycline ("FG CTC") with annual production capacity of 25,000 tons.

Used as a kind of feed additive, chlortetracycline ("CTC") serves as a type of broad-spectrum antibiotic which is effective against various types of bacteria, making it an antibiotic without compare. CTC is suitable for poultry, swine, sheep and cattle. Appropriate dosages at frequent intervals not only can prevent disease, but also increase the survival and growth rate of swine and poultry, the laying rate of poultry, as well as improving the overall feed efficiency.

Huazhong Chia Tai produces and sells FG CTC under the brand of "Citifac"; its products have won the certification of Chinese Good Manufacturing Practice ("GMP") for animal drugs and of the US Food and Drug Administration ("FDA") and are sold mainly in the Chinese domestic market. In exports, Southeast Asia, South and North America are Huazhong Chia Tai's major markets.
